What the papers said

A few entries back, I said something about getting a memo for doing something stupet. Well last night, the superior went up to my station and said, "Penny do you have a minute?  I have papers for you to sign." Those words ate me and I thought OH SHIT THIS IS IT. So I took a deep breath, stood up and followed her. In my mind I kept saying OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! When we got to her station, she laid three sets of papers for me to sign, one copy goes to Human Resource, one for me and one for her. She was smiling, I guess that’s a good thing, I thought to myself. When I sat down and read the words on the paper, "To Ms. Monasterial"  followed by more words which I’ve read before when she issued me the memo, I was thinking, hmm… what could be different or added to this memo? She prolly noticed my eyes going back and forth from the starting paragraph down to the mid part and realized that I was stupid not to figure out the verdict was at the bottom. So she pointed it out with a pen, "It’s right here Penny, your punishment and this is where you sign." I replied with an "OH OK" and with an I-knew-that tone. (more…)

I was rummaging though an old folder and found this photo. It was taken last year at Pundaquit, July if im not mistaken. There was a storm that time but that did not stop us from going. The waves were twice my height, crashing along shore like turbulence and moving back out to sea taking with it whatever it can leaving us with nothing. I have not been there for quite a while, and to think that's my hometown. I kinda miss the sound of the waves as it hits the rocks, the cottages, the calm and peaceful sea at night. I miss…

Taste Asia II: I was there again!

Ok i make this entry quick so i can sleep because im sick again and damn allergies! My nose hurts! Well, I went to yet another blogger parteh and as i was saying, I knew the second Taste Asia event would rock! And i think its better than the first because : one, I knew more bloggers this time around; two, TMB was there; and three, FREE BEER and food as always! I wasn't sure I was going at first because when I heard about the EB, everyone I knew wasnt registered yet and i was afraid i might go alone. So I left for my vacation and when I got back everybody seemed to be going (read: including TMB folks) and I have not registered! I quickly asked Sexymom if it was too late and she was nice enough to sign me up and even asked me to bring a guest. Marlon was not around for this, im sure he would have enjoyed it (Mikey was looking for you, ahaha) And I was late again, as always. Although this time, I did not have a hard time looking for my name since I am registered!! Actually, i was there on time but i went to the movies, after watching i went to Taste Asia and there were a lot of people already!

Catching up

Hello! Yes I am still alive. Sorry for the sudden absence. A lot went on and I wasn’t even able to keep up. Hehe! But I remember somewhere in this blog I said that I might fall into an unexpected blog hiatus, so here I’m updating you with whatever. I just got back from a two week vacation (1week at the hospital and 1week in Hong Kong) and I’m at work now doing OT. And since I’m sleepy and still lazy I will keep this short and snappy. I will post the updates chronologically in the succeeding entries which shall be very detailed and will include the following: pics, pics, and more pics. I will try to make it succinct so as not to bore you (because my life sucks like that) Yay!

OMG this made me ROFL!!

    Our office held its annual global picnic, and when i say global picnic, i mean office wide rave booze party at a beach with Juliana Palermo and DJ Mo as hosts. (yeah) I however was not included in the list and therefore was left in the office to work *sobs* But its ok because they held it at Subic which is actually where im from and the beach venue is just walking distance from my place, its actually the beach where i jog in the morning (so boo hoo) But come to think about it, partying along the shore and intoxicating yourself with alcohol and dancing the night away with your friends even though its at your hometown where you've lived for 22 years is still better than staying in Manila to work the night shift (parang sikyo lng) Am i still making sense? Anyway, my point is you dont get to realize how much fun they had and how envious you really are until they get back. I came across totally random photos which would prove it

Taste Asia! I was there too!

   
So much for being discreet huh… Marlon and I arrived at Taste Asia (MOA) for the Bloggers Food Fest in a timely manner…NOT…we were 30mins late and almost didn't get in. We told the registration that we did leave comments on them blog sites so we could get listed but our names were nowhere to be found. If the girls in the registration area didn't feel sorry for us we would have wasted one night of free booze and food. ahehe Anyways, they allowed us inside, you should have seen our faces light up like a kid enumerating his xmas list while on santa's lap, ok maybe not that exaggerated but you know what i mean, hey it is free booze so yeah. We were looking around for familiar faces, it was hard to tell since they kinda look different in person or maybe nobody was really familiar? Ok i saw Ms. Janette and im like woot! I would've come up to her and said hello if Marlon wasn't dragging me around all excited for the beer, food, Cliquebooth and waiters distributing fruitshakes and oh the photographers too, he must have hailed 3 of them to take our picture. Yeah he couldn't quite point his finger at what he wanted to do first. I just hope the pics are not all over the internets–I'm s'pose to be sick…ok i won't elaborate.

Yeah here are more pics from the two saturdays that ive spent partying and drinking excessively.  Plus other drinking sessions ive been in for the past two weeks.
