I know this is not one of the entries i promised id have its just that im still having trouble with that, (how hard could it be) I totally suck I know but those entries are still in the works.(i hope i get the mood to finish) So in the mean time i give you this!!
Ok now we proceed to EB talk! I think EBs are the in things these days are they not? Whatever. I have not been online for two weeks and when i finally got back on, a relative number of bloggers are talking about an EB and i even have a couple of replies from the messages i sent about setting it up which sounded something like this:
Hello (insert name here)
In case you didnt notice we are setting up a date for the EB!! Please visit the thread and tell us when is the best time for you. And i hope you are from Manila. Just reply to the thread so we can coordinate! Dont forget your contact details too!
Penny
How dorky was that? And yes they sent me contact details, *evil grin* little did they know that i saved all their numbers so i can flood them with messages and also write it down on public bathrooms and buses with the words "i needs a txtmeyt" included buwahaha!! Well actually, before i went on vacation i already knew that there was gonna be an EB, two actually. One will be at Taste Asia on Aug. 23 (and what the hey?? how come im not in the masterlist again??) and the other one is on Sept. 8, this one is for the I.ph users. As soon as i found out that everyone is already registered for the Taste Asia event, i quickly signed up as well so this time im registered! This is the second time I'm going at a Taste Asia event, and I bet this one is more interesting since there are more bloggers (500 bloggers are being invited to attend) I find EBs rather amusing because i enjoy meeting new people and talking about lots of stuff (yes even if the conversation is alcohol intoxicated) So how did i survive the first bloggers EB i attended? With lots of alcohol of course, hehe. Seriously now, I think you just have to come up to them and talk, how hard is that? Do not be shy and introduce yourself, mention your blog so they can recognize you (or not) and have a great time, enjoy the free food and booze! Yay! And also take some pictures or if there are photographers for the event make sure they take a picture of you or two or three
And then when you get home, if your not that drunk, BLOG ABOUT IT! Because you are a blogger! *applause* (And don't forget to link those bloggers you met)
Speaking of meeting new people, I met Mica, a fellow I.ph blogger. She is originally from Dagupan, although for the longest time i thought she was from Davao. (despite the banner on her blog that says DAGUPENA DREAMER in bold letters) She was in Manila for a couple of days so we decided to meet up for coffee last night. It was a little late, she was staying at Greenhills and im like 15 minutes away (isang kembot at dalawang tambling lang) so we met at Starbucks. But before i went there, i passed by Fullybooked and found myself spending money again, despite my starvation and being miser in HK, yes it feels good to spend pesos again without a care. I bought two books and holy crap Mica was already there!! I wasnt sure how to approach her so i said "Mica?" ( Mayka ) "kamusta naman yown?" And she was like "Hello!" and also her name is pronounced Mee-cah. We got to talk about lots of stuff, we shared a few interests so we got along just fine. Its too bad though that she had to go back to Manila making her miss the upcoming EBs. But hey anytime your here just let me know so we can get together again!
