Penny for your thoughts

Happiness comes in many forms -- in the company of good friends, in the feeling you get when you make someone else's dream come true, or in the promise of hope renewed. It's okay to let yourself be happy because you never know how fleeting that happiness might be.

Taste Asia! I was there too!

So much for being discreet huh… Marlon and I arrived at Taste Asia (MOA) for the Bloggers Food Fest in a timely manner…NOT…we were 30mins late and almost didn't get in. We told the registration that we did leave comments on them blog sites so we could get listed but our names were nowhere to be found. If the girls in the registration area didn't feel sorry for us we would have wasted one night of free booze and food. ahehe Anyways, they allowed us inside, you should have seen our faces light up like a kid enumerating his xmas list while on santa's lap, ok maybe not that exaggerated but you know what i mean, hey it is free booze so yeah. We were looking around for familiar faces, it was hard to tell since they kinda look different in person or maybe nobody was really familiar? Ok i saw Ms. Janette and im like woot! I would've come up to her and said hello if Marlon wasn't dragging me around all excited for the beer, food, Cliquebooth and waiters distributing fruitshakes and oh the photographers too, he must have hailed 3 of them to take our picture. Yeah he couldn't quite point his finger at what he wanted to do first. I just hope the pics are not all over the internets–I'm s'pose to be sick…ok i won't elaborate.

We met Ade, well actually he was hard to miss for he was right in the middle saying "Hi im Ade the Noisy Noisy Man and I'm awesome" or something like that to everyone or the just the ladies that went by i think, yeah cuz last time i heard his plan to pick up girls from the internets didn't work–mind bullets! So this is probably another strategy. peace! We also met Mike Villar, the rising internet star, who was taking snapshots with the guy wearing a crazy hat? ahehe tj introduced us to him and another officemate of his, Rhiz. Next thing i realized almost everyone was about to leave and we were the ones left on a table harassing the waiters, asking them for more food and to bring the beer keg within our reach. We met some more people, well known in the blogosphere like Rico and Sasha, as they were about to leave, sorry i cant remember all their names plus i think Ade scared them away with his "Hi im Ade the Noisy Noisy Man" spiel and manboobs. And then it was time to go, we were all buzzing, so we had a hard time finding our way out of the parking lot. We were all talking at the same time giving directions to Mike, up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B, A, B, A, START! Some sense of navigation huh, that's what you get for drinking the whole keg! Mikey was cussing us and he kept saying we suck and that we were his worst passengers ever, boo effin hoo! But it was fun, good times, hope we could attend more events like this. til next time! (and i remember vaguely we were talking about not blogging about this)
