It feels good to be finally home again at my hometown, Subic. Its been two weeks since I last went home and we all know what happened that time. Hehehe. I wont be jogging here for a while, the memory is still fresh. Speaking of which I received an SMS, and if my memory serves me right it was around 1:12am, it said “Still up? Gusto mo magjog tonight?” I was too sleepy to reply, and even so to check who it was from. And when I woke up this morning I read the SMS again and found out it was my friend Mikey who sent it, and I replied “Sorry I was asleep na last night, at ok ka lang? ala una ng umaga? Bka mapatay tayo niyan!” and the conversation went on and was later diverted to ‘where are you now?’ And ‘when are you going back to Manila?’ Then back to ‘Jogging tayo pagbalik mo dito.’ And he still wants to jog after my shift which is like 10pm. *sigh*
Anyway, I went to Cubao where the bus station is and bought a ticket. The dispatcher said the bus will leave by 8am (damn it its only 7am) so I had to wait for an hour. I did not eat breakfast before I left (would you believe) so I was pretty hungry. I was walking around the terminal carrying a bag which made me look like I was smuggling a little child or Mahal, no people that’s two weeks of dirty clothes I take my laundry every time I go home so our manang could wash it.
After minutes (but seemed like hours) of wandering around the terminal my shoulders began to ache, but just my luck, the driver was calling everybody and said that we can now ride the bus. Whew! So I went up and looked for my seat and was surprised because there was a bag already next to the window. Someone beat me to my seat, I don’t like sitting next to the aisle and yet there I was. I must have gotten hit by someone else’s bag three times while they were passing by. I couldn’t sleep too, bummer. So before the bus left I went down and got myself noodles ( I was really hungry ) and read a book to fight boredom. Finally the bus started to move, I spent three hours in a semi-sleep trance.
And now here I am!
