Did you guys vote? Ok i know this entry is kinda late…better than never is what they say right? Well like ive said before I am a registered voter. So i had to go home to Subic just to vote and lost 800pesos by doing so. I noticed most of the people dont care anymore about voting, my friends were planning to have a weekend somewhere and man you should have seen their faces when i said "I cant go cuz i have to vote" They all said "Hell no??!!" in unison. Well that's how it goes, Morgan (what i call my ol man) is gonna kill me if i dont go home and vote! He even joined the PPCRV (i dont know what it stands for) but its fancy term for poll watchers. Yes the poll watchers with tshirts and vests and all that gear. Only with this one, they were not provided vests, so my dad being so excited had one made just for him. We kept on asking him "so ikaw lng naka ganyan?" and he replied in a braggy tone "OO baket ba? Kelangan ko toh maraming bulsa, with lalagyan ng flashlight in case mawalan ng ilaw mamya sa bilangan…" hahahah. Here at the office i asked people if they were voting and most of them just gave me the "what are u talking about" look. Soooo..i guess that's a no. And true enough when i got back to work last Monday, i did not seem to find anyone else with indelible ink on their index fingers.
Some replies i got from people when i asked if they voted :
"No, kc nsa bahay ako ng BF ko sa Cainta"
"No, kc hindi ako registered"
"Hinde nkakatamad eh"
"Hinde, sayang lng ang boto ko!"
"No, they dont deserve my vote" taray..
Well i guess you cant blame them if they lost interest in voting, somehow they have a point, but i still trust that the people who voted, voted wisely. I fear that these actors would win the election because of naive voters. But i think the people know better now…i hope. well it aint over til its over. So far though the results are looking good. Except for the fact that Trillianes and Honasan made the top 12.
