Ok i went home for the weekend because i need to vote, yes im a registered voter and yes im from Subic Bay, actually its Olongapo City, but Subic Bay sounds way cooler. Oh and also its mothers' day, my mom kept on asking me, " oh where are we gonna have dinner tonight? " How should I know its your day..ok i did not say that to her hehe she would've hit me with what ever she was holding. I said " Ask Pop, its his treat" and then my mom goes " Oh I thought it was your treat? " NO F***IN WAY!! no effin way!! (ok again i did not say that to her) haha but that was basically the end of discussion.
Anyway, i decided i would go jogging today, its a Sunday and i guess i just missed it, i haven't jogged since i moved to the new apartment. So i asked my Pop to take me to the beach at 5:30 this morning. I loved jogging there and smelling the saltwater, misty fog over the pristine waters, hearing the sound of the small waves. I had everything planned out, after jogging i would have breakfast at the nearby coffee shop, i heard they made good omelettes and i would walk all the way home. Before i started, i looked for a spot where i could put my face towel and other stuff down while i ran. I found one eventually, it was on one of the hand rails for the boardwalk, i made sure that it was secured and nobody would just go and pick it up and take it, not that any of it was important, it was just a towel but my mom would kill me if i lost it. I wore my cellphone like a necklace, put on the headset and played my morning music, and started running. I noticed there were a couple of people by the shore and not much joggers. I then realized that they were drunken teenagers who probably came from a party last night (there are bars along the shore, the whole place is actually a gimmick strip at night and its called Moonbay Marina) At the end of the shore was a restaurant-slash-hotel and there were a few tourists enjoying the scenery as well. After reaching the ends twice back and forth i decided to sit and appreciate the view. It may not have white sand but hey its still the beach.

*At the end is the lighthouse tower which is also a hotel/resto
After another set of running from end to end i realized im tired and hungry, so i went back to where i left my things. I was excited about eating breakfast at the coffee shop so i hurriedly picked up my face towel and checked my money which i clipped on my jogging pants' waistband or garter or whatever its called, to my surprise it was gone!! It wasnt there, i lost it again!! That was 800pesos!! This is the second time this happened to me this year, the first time was not too long ago (it was actually about a month ago and it was P1500 and i accidentally threw it in the trashcan..dont ask!) I know..i know..i shouldn't have brought that amount of money with me, waahh!! I was checking my pants it did not have any pockets so i looked like an idiot feeling my ass, my legs even my socks and shoes with hope that it got caught there somewhere. I walked back, retraced my steps, there were other people jogging now too so again i looked like an idiot searching for seashells by the shore. Then i saw an old lady with a broomstick and a bag of garbage, my instinct was of course to ask her if she'd seen anything since she was doing all the cleaning. "Manang may napulot po ba kyong pera?" and she replied, "Ay wala, magkano ba?" so i told her i lost 800pesos and im walking back towards the other end of the shore to see if i dropped it there. And she was kind enough to offer help, she said she just started picking up trash at that area and so far she hasn't seen anything but she will give it to me once she does then she politely told me to continue looking for it on the other end. So i walked further praying to god ( i was actually saying, "Lord if i find it again i will use it to treat my mom or give her a mothers' day present. please help." ) and reached the end but there was no sign of Ninoy or Manuel Roxas, huhuhu… So i walked back and found the area was now cleaner so i assumed manang finished picking up the trash, i looked for her so i could ask if she found anything but did not see her anywhere. She was gone! OMG she was gone! You think she found it and ran away? or hid from me? arrrggg!! That backstabbing, old, *****!! arrgg!!! It was either her or the drunken teen agers, i just hope who ever got it would put it to good use or someone who really needed it. Hey i may have helped someone.. arrrgg!!! This is probably karma because i did not want to treat my family to dinner, hehehe or because i wanted to eat breakfast alone at the coffee shop, hehehe. I could have bought shoes damn it! Ok whoever came up with the saying "May pera sa basura" must have been looking in my garbage can. Oh well anyway i took pics of what i saw by the shore while i was searching and look what i found:
*some kid's sunglasses

*a tube of toothpaste

*A bamboo pole
*Another tube of toothpaste ( i guess they like brushing their teeth here in the morning)
*A little crab (cute)
* Oh that's my shadow, can i sell it for 800 pesos??!! damn it!
*A sachet of coffee (so i guess people really like spending their mornings here)
*And this is the coffee shop..damn it!!

NOTE TO SELF :
+ Never wear jogging pants when you jog
+ If you must wear jogging pants make sure it has pockets
+ Lastly, and the most important one, NEVER BRING 800pesos!! (what the heck are ya gonna need it for?)
